List of Long Term Drug Rehabs in Newfoundland

Throughout much of Newfoundland and Labrador are many small communities and indigenous Inuit and First Nations.  Drug and alcohol problems affect people from all walks of life, and this includes the individuals and families living within these smaller communities.  Despite long-term residential drug rehabilitation being one of the better options for substance abuse, there are limited resources available through much of Newfoundland and Labrador.  The long-term inpatient treatment centers that do operate within the province can provide a wide array of programs and treatment methods.  Some of these approaches include individual and group cousenling, twelve-step meetings, family counseling, and help for First Nations.  Both adults and teens can attend these long-term residential drug rehab centers, as there are programs available for men, women, and adolescents, and those who may be directly affected by a person’s addiction.
