We are a public service initiative designed to help addicts and families of addicts bridge the gap between available treatment options. Our counsellors form a fellowship of compassionate and dedicated workers who have all been touched by addiction themselves. We are here to provide help, provide hope, and explain all of your options to make this process of finding everlasting sobriety as smooth as possible.
This really depends on what medications you have been taking. Some medications will cause life threatening problems if they are abruptly discontinued. All addicting medication will cause a level of discomfort that makes it hard for someone to quit taking the medications. One should consult a professional before they decide to ever stop taking any medications that they have been taking on a regular basis.
